Festival Rules

Submission Guidelines:

Films can be submitted online via FilmFreeway or directly to Clap & Craft Independent Film Festival (CCIFF).
Entries must be in PAL format. NTSC format is not accepted.
Accepted video formats: .MP4 or .MOV only.
The festival is not responsible if a film fails to screen due to format issues or faulty
DVDs/pen drives.

Film Criteria:

The film can belong to any genre: Documentary, Experimental, Narrative, Fiction, Non-fiction, or Animation.
Original productions may be on 35mm, 16mm, HD, DIGI BETA, BETA SP, U-MATIC, DV, DVD. However, for preview/screening, the film must be available on DVD, pen
drive, or via Google Drive link.
Total running time must be under 30 minutes, including opening and end credits. There is no minimum time limit.
The short film may be in any language or genre.
- Non-English films must have English subtitles embedded in the video.
  Separate subtitle files will not be accepted.
- Films originally in English do not require subtitles.
A censor certificate is not mandatory for festival screening.

Entry & Usage Terms:

Multiple entries are allowed.
CCIFF reserves the right to use submitted films, trailers, stills, posters, or other materials for promotional purposes.
Submitted DVDs and other materials will become part of the festival archive and will not be returned.
Once a film is selected and submitted for final screening, it cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances until the festival concludes.
A synopsis and publicity materials (poster, stills, brochure, etc.) must be submitted with the entry.
The festival is not responsible for courier delays, customs issues, or return shipping.
Transportation and insurance costs of submission materials are the responsibility of the applicant.
The festival will not pay any customs duty or registration fees. If a parcel is returned due to such issues, the festival holds no liability
