Selection Process
Selection Process – Clap & Craft Independent Film Festival (CCIFF)
Judging Panel:
Winners are selected by a distinguished panel of industry professionals, including:
- Independent producers
- Filmmakers
- Production companies
- Other recognized members of the global film community
Judges may be substituted at the discretion of the festival organizers.
�Evaluation Criteria:
All films are judged equally and fairly based on the following core elements:
- Content Originality
(Storyline strength, script quality, and narrative innovation) - Production Quality
(Camera work, lighting, framing, and shot composition) - Post-Production
(Editing, pacing, transitions, continuity, and overall flow) - Image Quality
(Visual clarity, focus, color grading, and lighting balance) - Sound Quality
(Audio clarity, consistent sound levels, and absence of background noise)
Equal Opportunity Policy:
- No film or artist will be discriminated against or favored based on their country of
origin, language, age, gender, race, ideology, education, or economic background. - All content, forms, and techniques are welcomed without censorship.
�Final Selection & Notification:
- Finalists will be notified via email and/or official communication channels.
- The decision of the selection committee is final and no correspondence will be
entertained regarding the results. - While CCIFF will strive to announce selections and winners on time, it is not liable for
delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
�Terms of Participation:
By entering the festival:
- Participants (or their legal guardians, if minors) agree to be bound by the decisions of
the festival and judging panel, which are final and binding in all matters. - CCIFF reserves the right to accept or reject any film that is likely to offend religious,
social, community, or cultural sentiments or promote racism or social discord. - The festival organizers reserve the right to screen selected films up to three times across
different cities in India for non-commercial, promotional purposes. - Short excerpts from submitted films may be used on TV, online platforms, and other
media for promotional purposes during the festival period. - Entry into the festival constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, likeness, and
voice in future advertising or publicity without additional compensation. - The organizers reserve the right to extend the submission deadline in case of unforeseen
circumstances.
